This is an application for bail in connection with Sikta P.S.Case No. 08 of 2017, Trial No. 8 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)B of NDPS Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of 2 kg. of charas from the utensil kept near the petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that nothing has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner, rather recovery has been from the dental clinic in which the petitioner was under treatment and he is in custody for seven months.

Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and considering the fact that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31697 of 2017 (4) dt.04-08-2017 2/2 huge quantity of charas has been recovered, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
