Heard Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Singh, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Daudnagar P.S. Case No. 292 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 483, 414 and 401 of the Indian Penal Code.

One Ganesh Kumar is said to have been arrested on the charge of stealing motorcycles. After his arrest, he has named few persons including the petitioner as his accomplices. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that apart from the aforesaid confession made by the arrested

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23951 of 2021(2) dt.09-05-2022 2/2 accused person, namely, Ganesh Kumar, there is no other material to connect the petitioner with the offence. The petitioner has clean antecedents.

For the reasons afore-stated, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Daudnagar, Aurangabad, in connection with Daudnagar P.S. Case No. 292 of 2019, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
