Ankesh Thakur @ Ankesh Kumar @ Ankesh Kr. Thakur was granted bail by this Court vide order dated 11.12.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 70802 of 2019 in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 96 of 2019 with a direction to surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of the order and furnishing bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has approached this Court through the present petition seeking extension of time for surrendering before the court below.
For the reasons stated in the application, the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12835 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 prayer is allowed.
The order dated 11.12.2019 is modified to the extent that if the petitioner, above named, surrenders before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, he shall be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Uda-Kishunganj, Madhepura in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 96 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
With the aforesaid modification, the application stands allowed.
