Petitioner along with one Kalam Nadaf were apprehended while returning from Nepal and on physical verification, 85 litres of Nepali wine (Saunfi) has been recovered from each of them.

Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is under custody since 11.05.2017.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner, Amit Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-2nd, - cum-Special Judge, Excise, Sitamarhi in connection with Complaint Case No. C-2/281/2017.
