The petitioner seeks bail in Laxmipur P.S. Case No.93 of 2013, registered under Sections 395 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant lodged the case against unknown for committing dacoity in a bus.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of co-accused, Damodar Yadav. Nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner. Damodar Yadav has already been enlarged on bail. The petitioner is in custody since 18.11.2019, but the petitioner has not been put on TIP. Many other accused persons, namely, Bhim Thakur, Shiva Yadav, Gulabi Yadav have already

Having considered the facts that the name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of coaccused Damodar Yadav, but nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner nor the petitioner has been put on TIP and Damodar Yadav and other accused persons have already been granted bail, petitioner, namely, Thakuri Manjhi is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st, Jamui in connection with Laxmipur P.S.
