The petitioner raises a grievance that although she has been selected for appointment as Anganwari Sahaika in Gram Panchayat Raj Paharpur Manorath, in the district of Muzaffarpur but the appointment order has not been issued. It is not in dispute that the guidelines in force regulating the service of Anganwari Sevika/ Sahaika provides for a forum for raising grievances arising from a selection process and which is to be raised before the District Programme Officer by any applicant.

Patna High Court CWJC No.16128 of 2016 (2) dt.15-11-2017 The petitioner without exhausting the forum, is before this Court. In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Programme Officer, Muzaffarpur with her grievance and it goes without saying that any such representation being filed within four weeks from today by the petitioner shall be considered and disposed of by the District Programme Officer, Muzaffarpur in accordance with law and with opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any other contesting parties within a period of three months from filing of such representation.
