Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 111 of 2021 arising out of Tariyani P.S. Case No. 99 of 2021 lodged under Sections 498(A), 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is to kill his wife and burnt pouring kerosene oil on her. The informant was the chowkidar of village.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that he is a stranger that Amit Kumar @ Langra is the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13047 of 2022(3) dt.17-08-2022 2/2 husband of the deceased. He further submits that petitioner is in custody since 27.09.2021. He further submits that charge sheet has been filed in this case and there is no criminal antecedent against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the case diary has been called for and in paragraph-15 of the case diary it has come that the present petitioner has actively participated in commission of the crime. In the present facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. As such, the bail petition of the present petitioner is hereby rejected.
