2. In compliance with the order of this Court dated 16.11.2022, passed by this Court in CWJC No. 10656 of 2021, a show-cause has been filed on behalf of the O.P. Nos. 4 and 5. It is categorically averred that the Registrar of the University in utmost regard to the order of this Court has passed a reasoned

Patna High Court MJC No.492 of 2023(7) dt.25-10-2024 2/2 order vide letter no. Legal-30/2024 dated 18.09.2024. Further a calculation chat for payment/statement of pension from October, 2020 to June, 2024 has also been placed on record with the show-cause.

At this juncture, learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no. 1 is a hapless widow and there was some arrears of salary for the period July, 2003 to December, 2005 and April, 2010 to December, 2015 that has not been paid to the petitioner, till date. Though, he fairly contended that such relief was not the part of the writ petition.

In view of the materials available on record, as also the averments made in the show-cause affidavit, the present contempt petition stands closed with a liberty to the petitioners to assail the aforenoted order passed by the Registrar of the University, if the petitioners are not satisfied. So far the arrears of the salary is concerned, the petitioner no. 1 shall file a representation before the Registrar of the Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, who shall look into the matter and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law.
