2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 172 of 2023 dated 14.03.2023 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 354B, 379, 504, 506, 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Specific allegation against the petitioner is that he snatched gold chain of Rs. 75,000/- from the informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that both the parties are co- villagers. Specific allegation of assault is against co-accused, namely, Raushan Kumar, who assaulted the informant by means of iron rod causing head injury, and he has been granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 05.01.2024 passed by a co- ordinate Bench of this Court in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 82898
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17629 of 2024(2) dt.18-03-2024 2/2 of 2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only allegation against the petitioner is that he snatched the gold chain from the neck of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the informant being the co-villager, has filed a compromise petition and a petition seeking permission to compromise the case before the learned court below. Lastly, it has been submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedents.
5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest / surrender of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today, in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 172 of 2023, he will be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Hajipur subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
