1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i) For issuance of appropriate writ/order/direction in the nature of certiorari commanding the respondents to grant pay the scale of Rs. 4000-6000 instead of pay scale/grade pay the scale of Rs. 3050 to Rs.4590 from date of appointment as Clerks also appointed on

Patna High Court CWJC No.4963 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/3 compassionate ground have been granted the higher scale with arrears of dues of salary in the revised with all consequential benefits. In the light of this Hon'ble court's order dated 25.09.2023 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 11955 of 2023.

(ii) For issuance of appropriate writ/order/ direction nature of certiorari commanding the respondents to consider the case of petitioners accordance with the order vide letter no. 759 dated 02.05.2023 issued by the District Magistrate, Nalanda and similar order passed by the C.S. cum C.M.O., West Champaran, Bettiah vide letter no. 1165 dated 20.05.2023] The C.S. cum C.M.O, Saharsa vide letter no. 1247 dated 03.07.2023, the C.S. cum C.M.Ο., Rohtas vide letter no.2100 dated 21.07.2023 etc. and aforesaid authority consider the similar other employees cases in the light of L.P.A. No. 167 of 2016.

(iii) For issuance of appropriate writ/order/direction to the respondents to make payment of the petitioners in the light of L.P.A. No. 167 of 2016."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
