The petitioner seeks bail in Kotwali P.S. Case No. 243 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act.

The police intercepted a vehicle from which huge quantity of liquor was recovered. The police arrested Rahul Kumar and Rakesh Kumar and on their disclosure the places were searched and liquor was recovered. The apprehended accused Rahul Kumar and Rakesh Kumar disclosed that the petitioner being constable of Panther Mobile with Shankar Prasad used to cooperate them in transporting the liquor.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 26.05.2017 and nothing has been

Considering the facts aforesaid the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Gaya in Kotwali P.S. Case No. 243 of 2017.
