Petitioners have approached this Court for a direction to the respondents to grant pay to them.
Patna High Court CWJC No.4098 of 2020(2) dt.27-02-2020 2/2 The claim of the petitioners is that they were appointed in 2015 but they are not getting salary. The issue of validity of payment of arrears requires scrutiny of certain documents, which cannot be appropriately decided in the present proceeding. However, in the facts of the case, the Court directs the petitioners to approach the Director, Primary Education, Patna with all relevant documents for verification within a period of 15 days from today alongwith a copy of this order and on filing of such representation alongwith the relevant documents, the Director, Primary Education, Patna will cause an enquiry and take final decision. After enquiry if the appointment of the petitioners is found to be genuine and the petitioners have actually worked, he shall ensure payment of arrears of salary as well as current salary to the petitioners within a period of sixty days from the date of filing of such representation. With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
