This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No.444 of 2023 (Sessions Trial No.536 of 2024) registered for the offence under sections 341, 323, 325, 326, 307, 504, 506 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and under section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Later on, section 302 and 304-B of the Indian Penal Code were also added. Earlier, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail has been rejected by this Court vide order dated 23.08.2024 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.33085 of 2024.

The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased. The marriage of the deceased was solemnized in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11614 of 2025(2) dt.02-05-2025 2/2 year 2022 and she has been killed in the month of October, 2023.

The petitioner is said to have tortured the deceased for demand of dowry. She is in custody since 01.11.2023.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner, this bail application is allowed. 6.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned District & Additional Sessions Judge, X, West Champaran, Bettiah / concerned Court below, in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No.444 of 2023 (Sessions Trial No.536 of 2024).
