2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 302, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act registered in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No. 21 of 2001.

3. At the outset, learned APP submits that the F.I.R. has been filed as far back as in the year 2001, but the petitioner has approached this Court in the year 2019 and there does not appear to be any immediate apprehension of arrest of the petitioner.

4. Considering that the petitioner has not shown any immediate apprehension of arrest and the anticipatory bail has been filed 18 years after filing of the F.I.R., this Court is not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20958 of 2019(2) dt.04-04-2019 2/2 inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.

5. If the petitioner surrenders and seeks regular bail before the learned trial Court the same shall be considered on its own merits in accordance with law and without being prejudiced by any observation in the present order.
