Petitioner in the present writ application seeks a direction to revise the family pension as per the 5th, 6th and 7th Pay Recommendation Commission with effect from 01.04.1997, 01.04.2007 and 01.04.2017.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State stating therein that sanction order for revision has been sent to the Office of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna vide letter no.2854/G.S. dated 22.12.2018 to revise the pension and

Patna High Court CWJC No.5390 of 2019(2) dt.02-04-2019 2/2 gratuity of Havildar late Ram Bilash Singh, petitioner being widow of late employee.

Considering the statement made in the counter affidavit, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.4, The Accountant General, Bihar, Patna to revise the family pension of the petitioner as per the sanction sent by the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Pension Office, Bettiah vide letter no.2854/G stated 22.12.2018 within a period of two months and to present the same before The Treasury Officer, Saran at Chapra respondent no.3 which will be paid to the petitioner within one month. The entire payment would be made to the petitioner within three months from the date of receipt/production of the copy of the order. (Nilu Agrawal, J) B.Kr./- U
