1. The opposite parties have pointed out that in pursuance to the order dated 28.04.2023, passed by this Court in CWJC No.3680 of 2023, the matter was examined and it has been found that the case of the petitioner is not pending before the District Land Acquisition Officer, West Champaran at Bettiah, however, the same is pending before the competent authority, i.e. the Presiding Officer-cum-Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority, Muzaffarpur, thus the petitioner should approach the said authority.

2. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court MJC No.605 of 2024(4) dt.13-12-2024 2/2 petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Presiding Officer-cum-Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority, Muzaffarpur, however, seeks a direction upon him to expedite the claim of the petitioner. It is directed accordingly.

3. The petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
