The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 342, 354(A), 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3(1)(x) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

It is alleged that the petitioner assaulted the informant and tried to outrage her modesty and snatched gold chain from the neck of the husband of the informant.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for occurrence of 30.10.2014, F.I.R. was registered on 27.11.2014 and there is no injury report on the record. A statement has been made in paragraph no. 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Case No. 57 of 2014 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M. Gopalganj, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
