The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 277 of 2020 registered under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and 120 B of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further he submits that petitioner has no concern with the seized vehicle and illegal wine. Petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the seized vehicle, as stated in paragraph nos. 3 and 4 of the supplementary affidavit. It is also submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
