This is an application for bail in connection with Nagar (Kadirganj) P.S.Case No. 517 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 302, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the informant by sword and he is in custody for more than three months.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that allegation of assault to deceased is against other accused persons and the injury sustained by the informant is simple in nature. It has further been submitted that father of the petitioner has lodged a case against the informant and for that the present case has been

Heard learned APP and learned counsel for the informant also. They have opposed the prayer for bail. Having heard both sides and considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

However, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge in this case or after completion of six months period in custody.

With the above observation, this application is dismissed.
