The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Mokama P.S. Case No. 72 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under sections 498-A, 304-B and 201 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the prosecution case, the daughter of the informant was killed in her matrimonial home within five years of her marriage for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. The petitioner happens to be the father-in-law of the deceased. Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the nature of accusation made against the petitioner, I am not
