2. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:

"1. That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding upon the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground, as his father diedin-harness on 17.08.2019 while he was posted as Accountant-cum-Store Keeper in Child Development Project Office, Kanti."

3. Petitioner's father late Ram Naresh Ram was stated to have been appointed on 03.11.1983 and he had reported on

Patna High Court CWJC No.5543 of 2020 dt.07-12-2021 2/2 15.11.1983 under Muzaffarpur Collectoriate. He was promoted to the post of Accountant-cum-Store Keeper. He died while he was in service on 17.08.2019. Thus, the petitioner preferred application seeking compassionate appointment on 04.12.2019 and is pending consideration before respondent nos. 3 and 4.

4. Therefore, respondent nos. 3 and 4 are hereby directed to examine the petitioner's grievance and redress the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of this order. If the petitioner's grievance is not considered at the earliest, it amounts to defeating the very object of issuance of compassionate appointment. The same shall be taken note of by the respondent nos. 3 and 4 while redressing the petitioner's grievance. If the petitioner is otherwise eligible for the appointment, order of appointment shall be issued within the aforesaid time limit.

5. With the above observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
