1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application praying for issuance of a Writ in the nature of Writ of Mandamus for directing the respondents to cancel the selection of the Respondent no. 5 from the post of Vikas Mitra in the Gram Panchayat Basdi, 1, Block Deo, District - Aurangabad, which has been done a clear violation of the provisions contained in the guidelines prescribed by the Department of SC & ST Welfare, Government of Bihar, Patna (Respondent No. 1) for selection/appointraent on the post of Vikas Mitra and that too, in

Patna High Court CWJC No.3671 of 2024(2) dt.14-03-2024 2/2 illegal manner after ignoring the Vikas Mitra Provisional Merit List dated 24.07.2021 issued by the Block Development Officer, Deo (the Respondent No. 4); and further, for issuance of consequential directions to declare the petitioner selected on the said post, since she is the only eligible candidate in terms of the said guidelines for selection on the post of Vikas Mitra and/or any other relief/reliefs, order/orders for which the petitioner is entitled on the facts and circumstances of the case, may be passed by this Hon'ble Court."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of her subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
