The petitioner seeks bail in Amarpur P.S. Case No.64 of 2013 instituted for the offences under Sections 307 and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been alleged that petitioner has inserted Gupti in the chest of the grandson of the informant due to which he died.

Earlier this Court vide order dated 11.4.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No.7440 of 2016 has rejected the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19809 of 2017 (3) dt.21-06-2017 prayer for bail is rejected. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of nine months, on day to day basis, from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
