Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Petitioner is in custody since 30.01.2019. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. Liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner which is occupied by other family members also. Petitioner was not there at the time of recovery.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12418 of 2019(3) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Janki Nagar Police Station Case No. 13 of 2019 arising out of Special Excise Case No. 39 of 2019, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
