Petitioners, already in custody, seek bail in connection with Dehri (T) P.S. Case No.961 of 2017, registered under Sections 392/414 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the FIR was lodged after delay of 23 days, the petitioners were apprehended falsely; whereas learned APP for the State submits that the petitioners were found in possession of the stolen motorcycle and apprehended with the same.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the prayer of bail of the petitioners, at present, is rejected in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11582 of 2018(2) dt.28-02-2018 2/2 connection with Dehri (T) P.S. Case No.961 of 2017, pending in the court of learned SDJM, Dehri, District Rohtas. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within six months from the date of framing of the charge.
