The grievance of the petitioner is that he retired on attaining age of superannuation on 31st of July, 2019, but on one or the other pretext, the respondents are keeping the matter of payment of his terminal dues pending.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents are harassing the petitioner as the petitioner has not been paid his post retiral dues.

Since the petitioner has retired on 31st of July, 2019, one year back, the respondents are hereby directed to ensure

Patna High Court CWJC No.4447 of 2020(3) dt.02-09-2020 2/2 payment of entire post retiral dues after completing all the formalities, if any, required in the process of finalization of the pension of the petitioner. The entire exercise in this regard must be completed by the respondents within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and ensure payment of arrears as well current pension sought to be paid to the petitioner within a further period of one month failing which the petitioner would be entitled to 9% interest from 31st of July, 2019 till the date of actual payment which shall be borne out from the pocket of the respondents. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
