The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

It is alleged that 26 quintals of wheat was recovered from the flour mill of the petitioner. It was suspected to be the wheat of State Food Corporation.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner produced the documents of the purchase of the grains, but it was simply disbelieved because at the time of seizure the petitioner was managed to escape from the scene. The statement has been made in para-3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6875 of 2015 (2) dt.20-02-2015 Considering the suspicious nature of accusation, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Buniyadganj P.S. Case No. 57 of 2014, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Indian Penal Code.
