This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Akabarpur P.S. Case No. 30 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

In view of submission that the petitioner is the owner of the bus, which is a commercial vehicle, and the recovery was at Patna, so the petitioner cannot be saddled with the liability of the liquor being carried by the bus, this application is also allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his

Case No. 30 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
