JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 03-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondents to consider his case for compassionate appointment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mother of the petitioner died in harness on 24.9.2016 and thereafter the petitioner approached the respondents for consideration of his case for compassionate appointment but till date there is no final decision.

Considering the object behind compassionate appointment, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to

Patna High Court CWJC No.4417 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 the respondents to take appropriate decision for compassionate appointment of the petitioner. While taking decision the respondents are required to take into consideration the report of the High Power Committee contained in memo no. 1275 dated 26.9.2019. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondents at the earliest preferably within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
