Death of the father of the petitioner happened way back on 5/8/1999. The object and purpose for providing compassionate appointment has been lost because matter is more than a decade and half old now.

2. In view of the same, coupled with the fact that compassionate appointment is not a methodology for providing employment to unemployed children of a government servant, this writ application is required to be dismissed.
