Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a)(g) and 32(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. From an auto rickshaw foreign liquor was recovered. The driver disclosed that the petitioner is the owner of the same.

Submission of the petitioner is that the petitioner was not apprehended at the spot and he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 12.04.2017. Considering the aforesaid submission, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

No.27943 of 2017 (2) dt.28-06-2017 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Banka/successor Court in connection with Chandan Police Station Case No. 32 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. No. 809/2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
