The petitioner seeks bail in Kotwali (Adampur) P.S. Case No. 647 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code. Five persons were apprehended by the police on information that they had assembled to commit crime. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only one mobile was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. No arms and ammunition was recovered. For recovery of arms and ammunition Kotwali (Adampur) P.S. Case No. 648 of 2016 was registered under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act and in that case the petitioner has been made accused.
