2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):
"for issuance of writ (s), order (s), direction (s) for quashing the order dated
Patna High Court CWJC No.19046 of 2016(3) dt.02-09-2025 2/3 19.10.2013 passed in Land Acquisition Case No. 58 of 2009 10 by learned District Land Acquisition Officer, Saran at Chapra respondent no. 6 by which the objection petition of the petitioner no. 1 and 2 with respect to the proceeding of Acquisition of the land of the petitioner no. 1 and 2 situated at plot no. 704 and 705 has been rejected and further for quashing the subsequent order dated 18.11.2014 passed by the aforesaid respondent no. 6 by which the price of the land of the petitioner has been fixed as Rs.7,386 decimal and on that basis the amount of compensation has been calculated and decided to be paid which totally bad and illegal.
And further for any other relief(s) for which the petitioners may found entitled to."
3. A counter affidavit has come on behalf of the District Land Acquisition Officer, Chapra, Saran according to which, the authorities have rightly calculated the compensation amount in accordance with the rate fixed by them/recorded in the Sub-Registry Office, Marhowrah.

4. The further submission is that if aggrieved, the petitioner ought to have taken recourse to the alternate remedy available under the law.
5. Though there is force in the submission of learned State counsel, since there is no appearance, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
