JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-05-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being the brother of the husband of the informant is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand.

Considering the thrust of accusation against the husband of the informant, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Patna City in connection with Khajekalan P.S.
