2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 462 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 140(2), 3(5) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and other accused persons are said to have kidnapped the victim and demanded extortion.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 14.10.2025.

5. The SHO of Jhajha Police Station has produced the statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS as well as the statement of the victim recorded under Section 180 of the BNSS and the same supports the prosecution case.

6. In view of the aforesaid, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
