2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

3. prosecution case is that 171 liters country made liquor was recovered from a car.

4. It is submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the vehicle in question. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he is no way connected with the aforesaid recovery.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the bail petition

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12703 of 2025(2) dt.25-02-2025 2/2 and submits that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent of eight cases out of which seven are of similar in nature.

6. Considering the accusation and criminal antecedents of similar nature, anticipatory bail application of the petitioner is rejected.
