Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within two weeks of the complete start of the physical Court in normal course.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 70 of 2020, arising out of Kesariya P.S. Case No. 484 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 399, 402 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Allegation is of recovery of one country made pistol, cartridge and 900 grams of charas from the possession of the

Considering the serious nature of allegation made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail Accordingly, the present bail application is rejected. The trial court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously taking into consideration the period of custody undergone by the petitioner and the quantity of charas recovered from his personal possession.
