Petitioners seek bail in Sono P.S. Case No.178 of 2017 instituted under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 325, 326, 307, 302/120(B) of I.P.C.

Allegation in brief is that due to land dispute accused persons badly assaulted the informant, his father, uncle and others of the informant's side as a result three succumbed to the injuries and fourth was critically injured.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is general and omnibus allegation leveled in the F.I.R. and there is land dispute between both sides and there is no specific

No.3578 of 2018 (5) dt.13-03-2018 2/2 accusation against petitioners, whereas the learned counsel for the State submits that all brutally assaulted with deadly weapon causing death of three persons of same family. Having considered the nature of offence and its magnitude, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the trial within a period of two years after framing of charge.
