The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sahebpur P.S. Case No.180 of 2022 registered under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and other allied sections of the I.P.C.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. There is a land dispute between the parties. The allegation of touching the wife of the informant is against the petitioner but the police did not institute the case under Section 354 or 354B of I.P.C as it was disbelieved and the allegation of assault is against other accused persons. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
