The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bakhtiarpur P.S. Case No. 312 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
On consideration of the materials available on the record, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer is rejected.
However, the District & Sessions Judge, Saharsa, is directed to take steps for conclusion of the trial of the case by Fast Track Court within a period of one year. In the event the trial is not concluded within the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12546 of 2020(3) dt.25-06-2020 2/2 aforesaid period and if there is no any laches on the part of the petitioner in conclusion of the trial, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after one year.
