BAJANTHRI) 22-08-2023 The present contempt petition is filed for noncompliance of the order dated 04.09.2013 passed in CWJC No. 7323 of 1996 in the year 2023 i.e. after almost nine years.

In the light of Section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with decision of our Court dated 24.07.2023 passed in MJC No. 1840 of 2023 (Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sinha and Ors. vs. The Union of India and Ors.), the present contempt petition is not maintainable on the ground of delay in filing contempt petition.

3. Accordingly, present contempt petition stands dismissed.
