1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P for the State.
2.The present petition has been filed for modification of order dated 14.07.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 31774 of 2023.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that vide order dated 14.07.2023, the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail. He further submits that petitioner no. 2 was seriously ill and petitioner no. 1 being a family member was also engaged in providing assistance to the treatment of petitioner no.2. Doctor had advised complete bed rest and proper care to the petitioner no.2 and on account of said reason,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30600 of 2024(3) dt.10-05-2024 2/2 petitioners could not furnish bail bond before the concerned court within the statutory period. Hence, learned counsel for the petitioners wants extension of further two weeks so that they could furnish bail bond in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 139 of 2020.
4. Learned APP does not controvert the aforesaid submission.
5. In the light of aforesaid submission, two weeks further time is extended from receipt of the order of this Court for furnishing bail bond in connection with Supual P.S. Case No. 139 of 2020.
6. Accordingly, order dated 14.07.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 31774 of 2023 stands modified to the extent stated above.
7. In the aforesaid manner, the present modification petition stands disposed of.
