The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that despite his having participated in the appointment process of Constables by the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), he has been left out, whereas appointments of others have been made.

Patna High Court CWJC No.4309 of 2019 dt.08-03-2019 2/3 The major grievance of the petitioner is that despite his asking for his score-card, he has not been provided with the same.

He further submits that the result was neither published on-line nor in the newspaper and, therefore, any appointment, which has been made pursuant to the advertisement, is through back-door.

Mr. Sanjay Pandey, learned advocate appearing for the Central Selection Board of Constables, submits that pursuant to an advertisement of the year 2017, the process of appointment was concluded and more than 9,000 Constables have been recruited. He further disputes the statement made by the petitioner factually that no result was published on-line or in the newspaper. However, Mr. Pandey, in the absence of any instruction from the Board, would not able to respond to the fact whether any score-card of the petitioner on demand has been provided to him or not. He only submits that anybody who approaches the Board for his marks, is provided with the same.

Patna High Court CWJC No.4309 of 2019 dt.08-03-2019 3/3 Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to make a representation before the Chairman, Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) / Respondent No. 2 within a period of three weeks from today and the concerned respondent shall dispose off such representation by providing the petitioner his score-card within a period of one week thereafter, without fail.

Should the petitioner feel aggrieved thereafter, he would have the liberty to approach this Court. With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
