The present writ petition has been preferred for: issuance of the writ nature of mandamus for direction to the respondents to grant compensation of the land, land of the petitioner bearing Khata no. 12. Khersa no. 68, area 12 dec, has been acquired by the respondents out of them only Rs. 11.479/- paid to the petitioner, remaining cost of the land has not been paid to the petitioner and

Patna High Court CWJC No.16132 of 2016(2) dt.04-08-2025 2/2 further issued direction to respondents to grant the com-pensation of the land which has been acquired by the Special Land Acquisition Officer (Canal) Middle Sinchai Pariyojana, Bhagalpur in Acquisition Case No. 16/2009 - 10 and further give other legal consequential benefit to the petitioner.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the full payment has not been paid for which already petitions were submitted before District Land Acquisition Officer (Canal), Middle Irrigation Project, Bhagalpur (Respondent no. 3).

4. Learned State counsel has not filed any counter affidavit but submission is that if such petition is still pending, the same shall be taken to its logical conclusion.

5. In that background, the writ petition is disposed of allowing the petitioner to approach the concerned respondent along with the present order who shall be taking up the matter and dispose it of and if still not disposed of, preferably by 31st December, 2025.
