Having regard to the fact that no part of cause of action has arisen within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court pertaining to the recruitment and selection on the post of Constable and Rifleman in Assam Rifles undertaken in the year 2012, this writ application keeping in view also the Courts jurisdiction laid down in the advertisement reading as follows:

"15. Courts Jurisdiction Any dispute in regard to this recruitment will be subject to courts/ tribunals having jurisdiction over the City/ Town in which the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office of the SSC is situated and where the candidate has submitted his/her application."

must be held to be ill-advised and misconceived. Merely because the petitioner had appeared in examination

Patna High Court CWJC No.2179 of 2015 (2) dt.03-02-2015 at one of the centre in the city of Patna will not mean that the writ petition relating to appointment on the post of Constable/ Rifleman in Assam Rifles will be maintainable before this Court. That being so, this application is dismissed as not maintainable.
