The petitioners seek bail in connection with Durgawati P.S. Case No.218 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 302, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

Allegation against these petitioners is to have committed murder of the grand daughter (Rekha Devi) of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. 4.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that petitioners have falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that petitioner no.1

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19003 of 2024(2) dt.21-03-2024 2/2 is father-in-law and petitioner no.2 is mother-in-law. It is submitted that there is no allegation as regard to demand of dowry against these petitioners and petitioners have no concern with the alleged occurrence. It is also submitted that similarly situated co-accused person has already been granted anticipatory bail by a learned co-ordinate Bench of this Court through Cr. Misc. No. 72212 of 2022 on 20.03.2023. It is further submitted that petitioners are men of clean antecedent and they are in custody since 21.07.2022.

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioners. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the petitioners, let both the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail in connection with Durgawati P.S. Case No.218 of 2022 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge 1st, Kaimur (Bhabua).
