Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 and 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

About 280 grams of ganja was, allegedly, recovered from possession of the petitioner.

Submission is that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 24.10.2017 and the recovered quantity is small quantity.

Finding substance in the aforesaid submission, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9371 of 2018 (2) dt.17-02-2018 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No. 162 of 2017 arising out of Phulwari Sharif Police Station Case No. 678 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
