It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that his licence was cancelled by the District Magistrate, Patna though impugned order was never served upon him, however, the communication dated 23.11.2009, as contained in Annexure-1 was given to the petitioner after which the petitioner preferred Arms Appeal No. 170 of 2010 before the Divisional Commissioner, Patna. The matter was remanded back to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15197 of 2016 dt.08-12-2016 Licensing Authority by order dated 26.04.2016 but no decision has been taken as yet.

It appears that this writ petition has been filed in haste as the order was passed by the Commissioner on 26.04.2016 and writ petition was affidavited on 29.08.2016. Be that as it may, let the Licensing Authority-cumDistrict Magistrate, Patna take up this matter and conclude the same expeditiously.
