Petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 21(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act. About eight grams of heroin was allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 16.01.2017. Considering the fact that the alleged recovery is just above the small quantity as well as considering the period already undergone by the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26392 of 2017 (3) dt.29-06-2017 2/2 satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Bhojpur at Ara/Successor Court in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.2 of 2017, arising out of Ara Town Police Station Case No.15 of 2017, with condition that petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the Court-below shall be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of the bail-bonds of the petitioner in this case.
