The grievance of the petitioners are that the they are owner of three plots situated at village DilawarpurGobardhan, Chadar No. 2, Thana No. 424, Anchal Bidipur, Khata No. 591, Plot No. 1629 (Area 0.625 decimal), Plot No. 1639 (Area 26 decimals) and Plot No. 2706 (Area 2.75 decimals with a well). That for the purpose of constructing 6 lanes Ganga River Green Field Bridge Project the plots of the petitioners have been acquired. That the petitioners have been paid the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4396 of 2024(8) dt.02-12-2024 2/3 compensation for two of the plots but for the third plot the compensation is yet to be paid. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in the counter affidavit filed by the respondents, they have accepted the fact that the compensation for one plot has not been paid on the ground that the petitioners have not submitted the relevant documents. Learned counsel has stated that though the petitioners have submitted the necessary papers, they are willing to file a representation along with all the necessary documents to the authority concerned and they may be directed to pay the compensation to the petitioners for the remaining one plot.

3. In the counter affidavit filed by the Respondents the factum of not paying the compensation has not been denied. In paragraph 12 of the counter affidavit it is stated that the authorities are ready for the payment but the petitioners did not submit the relevant papers for disbursement of the compensation.

4. Having regard to the above mentioned facts and circumstances, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to submit a representation along with all necessary documents within a period of four weeks to the Respondent No. 4. On receipt of the said representation, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4396 of 2024(8) dt.02-12-2024 3/3 District Land Acquisition Officer, Vaishali, Hajipur, shall verify the documents filed by the petitioners and pay the compensation amount to the petitioners. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation received from the petitioners.

5. With the above directions, the CWJC stands disposed of.
